Art Dubai

Open for 4 days to the public, Art Dubai is a leading contemporary art fair bringing together galleries and artists from the Middle East region and northern Africa. An internationally recognised event, the show aims to assist Dubai in becoming an esteemed art and design destination. Almost 100 galleries display works at the fair, which was first launched in 2007. The art on show is divided into modern art, contemporary art, emerging names and artists in residence – encouraging work to be done in the local area using local scenes and sights as a rich source of inspiration. Art professionals, museums, institutions and collectors go to this fair to see fresh ideas and experimental work from an under-represented area of the world. It’s the place to go to spot something unique and special. With the two other Dubai fairs – Downtown Design Dubai and Wold Art Dubai – Art Dubai participates in the dynamism of the art market in the region.
