IDF Oman
Organised by the Omani-based company Al Nimr Expo, IDF Oman Exhibition has been first launched in 2014 and is Oman’s only biggest Interior Design Show. Sultanate of Oman’s current Art & Antiques market stands at US$ 5 million with room to grow. IDF Oman takes place annually at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, along with the Kitchen & Bathroom Show, The Tile & Stone Show and ART SPACE. ART SPACE at IDF Oman is a platform for this luxury sector and permitting artists from all over the world to showcase their art with a blend of the tradition and customs of the Sultanate of Oman.It is being held for the 4th year in a row. It presents a range of contemporary art including paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs. Over 12.000 visitors – professionals, designers, art lovers, VIP’s – came for the show’s 2020 edition. The range of pieces showcased is broad enough to meet all kinds of tastes: gilt-bronze candlesticks, large sofas, soft carpets, fine crafted tables, etc. IDF Oman Exhibition is a not-to-be-missed event to spot the trends of tomorrow.

What would you say is the DNA of IDF Oman?
ART SPACE at IDF Oman is a platform for this luxury sector and permitting artists from all over the world to showcase their art with a blend of the tradition and customs of the Sultanate of Oman as well as to showcase international modern and contemporary art.
What type of galleries are chosen to exhibit, and why?
We have Artists from within the Sultanate of Oman of who participate and even teach a few classes at the Fair, and have international artists participating in ART SPACE to create their presence in the Middle East.
What is the price range of pieces? Who is the average buyer?
Price ranges from artist to artist, minimum USD 150/- to USD 1,000/-.

Is there a typical atendee at IDF Oman?
ART SPACE is a co-located fair with IDF Oman Exhibition, for Interior Design, Décor and Furnishing. Every year we get a footfall of over 10,000 + visitors for the event. They are individuals, families and companies that visit the show and the ART SPACE as well.
