MIRA Art Fair
The MIRA Art Fair is a pioneering initiative that aims to showcase Latin American art in Paris. Hosted at the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, the first edition takes place in September 2024, bringing together around twenty leading galleries from across Latin America. The name “MIRA” has two meanings in Spanish: to direct the eye to something or to indicate intention or purpose. True to its name, MIRA highlights artworks that have rarely been seen in Europe, positioning Latin America at the center of the international art scene. The fair offers an intimate and high-quality experience, featuring galleries from countries such as Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil, many of which have participated in prestigious events like Art Basel and ARCO Madrid. MIRA prioritizes the quality of artistic presentations and fosters meaningful connections between galleries, collectors, and institutions. With a strong institutional presence from museums and foundations, the fair is designed as a space for thoughtful exchanges and is especially focused on institutional and collector engagement.
