Art Central

Held as the same time as Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Central is one of the cornerstone events taking place during Hong Kong Art Week that occurs in March annually for 7 days. Art Central was established in 2014 to showcase Asian 20th and 21st-century art. At least 75% of the 100 plus galleries are from the Asia-Pacific region and the fair offers an opportunity to discover this area’s emerging and experimental artists. Various media are showcased as painting, sculpture, photography or art installation. Along with established names, museum quality art and international pieces, there are performances and projects to view as well to meet all tastes and interests. With more than 37,000 visitors attending each year, Art Central Hong Kong is a popular show with collectors, art market professionals, museum curators, art lovers and simply curious.
