ARCO lisboa

In 2016, IFEMA launched ARCO lisboa, an exciting fair focusing on international contemporary art. The fair takes place in the Portuguese capital annually in May. ARCO lisboa displays three sections presenting a wide range of media. The main section displays Portuguese art and international artworks that connect to Portugal. There is second area devoted to new galleries younger than 7 years old. The third and last section houses project works by artists. Alongside these sections, there is also a place handed over to published art books. In total, approximately 70 galleries exhibit work that is offered for sale to experienced collectors, seasoned buyers, industry professionals and art lovers. Year after year, the fair has become a gathering place for the thousands of annual enthusiastic attendees. Another ARCO takes places annually in Spain, ARCO madrid, every end of February.
