Art Palm Beach
Art Palm Beach is an established American fair, first launched in 1998. This fair is the premiere mid-winter contemporary art fair on Florida’s Gold Coast. It takes place each year since its creation in January, to warm up winter, in West Palm Beach. Before its acquisition by the Palm Beach Show Group, which also owns the LA Art Show, the fair was previously organized by IFAE founders Lee Ann & David Lester, the original founders of both Art Miami and Art Asia Hong Kong. Art Palm Beach presents works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries with over 80 galleries from 20 countries. The fair focuses on today’s emerging art trends with an opening to videos, performances and installations.

What would you say is the DNA of Art Palm Beach?
We are all about stimulating the heart and mind, of presenting sophisticated art and evocative ideas that may be thought-provoking but always engaging.
What type of galleries are chosen to exhibit, and why?
We are focusing on the art experience for each visitor. Modern art refers to art produced during a specific period and many famous examples are almost 200 years old. When we talk about contemporary art, art that is of the now, we are describing present times, art created by living working artists. We really want to offer visitors a more comprehensive art experience, in this case, we want to encourage not only established art collectors but also want to provide an opportunity for young emerging art collectors to discover new proposals, new and emerging galleries, and young and emerging artists.
What is the price range of pieces? Who is the average buyer?
Prices can range from 10k to 500k. There is something for everyone, Art Palm Beach will be a platform for young and seasoned collectors.

Who is the typical attendee of Art Palm Beach?
We are aiming for the general public coming from Palm Beach as well as national and international Art Collectors. Florida and Palm Beach are such strategic points for many countries in America Continent as well as Europe and the rest of the world.
What strategy – physical as digital – will you adopt in medium to long term?
Despite being deeply rooted in time-honored cultural traditions, we are also inclusive, creative, and open – always seeking to connect with individuals and communities through art and artistic experiences.
What are two other art fairs you would suggest?
I always suggest attending as many fairs as Art Collectors can, nationally and internationally, to learn the art fair’s particularities and the best ways to engage with the galleries that each of them supports. At the same time make sure you are following the artists and galleries that you support. Of course, I would recommend the LA ART SHOW/a>, the other fair that I am the Fair Director in Los Angeles.
