Art Up!
Art Up! is Lille’s unmissable contemporary art fair. As a matter of fact, it is nothing less than the third contemporary art fair in France. Since its first launch in 2008, the fair has quickly grown. Indeed 38,000 visitors gather each year at the Grand Palais to enjoy a quality art show. Over 100 French and international galleries participate. For this reason, the audience come not only from France but from the rest of the world as well. Art Up! is organized around a main theme that changes annually. For instance, in 2019, the fair invited exhibitors and visitors to explore the theme: “Photography, at the heart of today’s artistic creations”. Finally a strong focus is put on emerging creation. The fair takes place early March, at the same time as the nearby Collectible in Brussels.
