arteba

As Colombia has its ARTBO, Chile has its Ch.ACO and Uruguay has its Este Arte, Argentina has its arteba. The fair was founded by a non-profit and non-governmental organization. They aimed then to develop the Argentinian art market by creating a ephemeral gathering point for art lovers. Winning bet! The show has indeed become one of the most important contemporary art fairs of the region. An ever increasing number of people attend it and the public is heterogeneous. We can thus see curators, art dealers, artists, collectors and simply curious walking in the alleys. Finally, arteba is dedicated to Argentine and Latin American art, longing to integrate this art completely into the global artistic market. It takes place every year in April in the capital of Buenos Aires.
