What would you say is the DNA of Artexpo New York?
Artexpo New York is the world’s original art fair. Since 1978, Artexpo New York has been changing how people buy and sell art. This year, we’ll host over 200 innovative exhibiting galleries, artists, and publishers from across the globe, showcasing exciting original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, glass works, and more. Best of all, Artexpo New York is two shows under one roof! The Gallery Pavilion features well-established artists, galleries, and art publishers. The [SOLO] Pavilion is a curated exhibition of established and emerging independent artists, as well as some of the world’s best abstract, contemporary, and realist fine art photographers. Artexpo New York is one of Redwood Art Group’s annual art fairs, a roster that includes Art San Diego, Spectrum Brooklyn, Art Santa Fe, Red Dot Miami, and Spectrum Miami.
What type of galleries are chosen to exhibit, and why?
From established to blue chip galleries are invited to exhibit at Artexpo New York based on their curated selection of artists and unique works of art.

Who is the typical attendee of Artexpo New York?
Artexpo New York attendees are well-educated professionals who love to travel and enjoy fine wine and great food. They are typically museum members, “doers” who enjoy luxury items, great design, and giving back to their communities. Attendees include collectors, artists, designers, architects, civic leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and retirees. In addition, because Artexpo New York was founded as a trade event, Artexpo New York welcomes 6,000+ trade attendees to the fair during the first two days, including art dealers, galleries, art publishers, product developers, designers, architects, licensing executives and more.
What strategy – physical as digital – will you adopt in medium to long term?
We are incorporating a virtual element to each of our live, in-person fairs over the next several months to create a hybrid concept.
What are two other art fairs you would suggest?
