Manchester Art Fair

Manchester Art Fair – the largest one held in northern England – was founded in 2008 in response to a need for events located out of London. Attracting upwards of 120 galleries from all over the UK and internationally, it truly is a prestigious fair. Indeed, world-famous artists have been exhibited in the past, such as Banksy and Damien Hirst. Emerging names are showcased as well with for instance under-represented artists and talent from non-traditional backgrounds. The artwork available to purchase is modern and contemporary sculpture, photography and paintings with limited-edition prints on offer as well. Additionally, adults art classes, tours, demos and children’s activities are part of the programme. This exciting fair takes place in October every year, at the same time as The Manchester Contemporary.
