Frieze New York
Frieze was founded in 1991 with the launch of Frieze magazine, focusing on contemporary art and culture. Since that day, Frieze has grown to become an established brand. Indeed, along the magazine, it now stages five international art fairs: Frieze London, Frieze Masters, Frieze Los Angeles, Frieze New York and the recently launched Frieze Seoul. Founded in 2012, The New York edition focuses on contemporary and modern galleries. Its influence is international. Thus, more than 190 galleries from 30 countries showcase about 1.000 leading artists. A fair of young talents, Frieze New York is the place to purchase pieces by those who will dominate the art scene in a few years. Finally, to reinforce this ambition, Frieze New York has created a special section, Frame, dedicated to emerging artists and galleries aged 10 years or younger.
