First launched in September 2021, paper positions Hamburg showcases all kind of works on paper: prints, drawings, inks, among others. Art lovers gathers at Jupiter, the former Karstadt Sport, on Mönckebergstraße, in the heart of the city. About 30 international artists, emerging as established ones, exhibit their pieces at all kind of prices.nSelected Hamburg galleries and a small selection of exhibitors from other parts of Germany presented one artistic position of contemporary and modern art with, from and on paper. This art fair is annualy made possible by the support of the Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media, the support of the Kreativgesellschaft Hamburg and realized in cooperation with the Landesverband Hamburger Galerien. There are in total 5 fairs run by the same group in Germany and Switzerland: paper positions berlin, paper positions hamburg, paper positions frankfurt, paper positions munich and paper positions basel.
