Photo London
Photo London was launched in 2015 to give the capital a photography art fair with international status. Each edition has seen the fair grow and blossom, and today Photo London truly is a leading show when it comes to the photographic medium. Indeed, it brings together more than 100 galleries offering outstanding works of art. The ‘Discover’ section of the fair introduces fledgling galleries and rising photographers to dealers, curators and public members. Showcasing past work, a selection of established galleries displays vintage photographs and archival pieces. The fair occurs annually during the busy month of May, at the same time for example as Draw Art Fair or the Spring edition of The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair. Alongside the trade exhibition itself, there are tours, talks and book signings taking place. Finally, awards are presented by a panel of judges, including the esteemed Photo London Master of Photography.
